Computer Rankings Challenge Update

Leader:  Andrade
Massey:  -1
RPI:  -2
Trevor:  -3
Massey:  -3
Sagarin:  -4
BPI:  -5
KenPom:  -5

The only disagreement in the Sweet 16 is Michigan State vs. Duke.  Massey takes Michigan State; the rest of us take Duke.

Massey has came back on the heels of 2 of the snub picks advancing to the NIT Final Four while MTSU and Oklahoma each failed to win an NCAA game.

Computer Rankings Challenge through Round 1

So far here are your standings through round 1:

Andrade:  Leader
RPI/Massey/Trevor:  2 back
Sagarin:  3 back
ESPN BPI/KenPom:  4 back

There is only one game where there is not consensus in round 2 and that is LaSalle-Ole Miss.

Myself and the RPI take LaSalle; the other 5 computers are taking Ole Miss.

Massey, Sagarin, KenPom and ESPN BPI all have upside remaining from their snub selections.

Computer Rankings Challenge

Scoring is as follows:
-Every correct game = 1 point (each game the computers will predict a winner even if they got the prior round wrong).
-Bonus point for picking a Final 4 team correctly.
-Bonus point for picking the champion correctly.
-3 Bonus points possible for predicting the field (0 errors = 3 points, 1 error = 2 points, etc).
-Snub points available if the team you thought should make the field makes the NIT Final Four AND one of your 3 replacements loses their first tournament game.
-The 1 on Snub 1 and Snub 2 indicates that the computer had < 3 errors on predicting the NCAA Tournament field.
-There are no rewards for this.  I just want to see how my computer stacks up to others.

Right now Trevor, RPI and myself each have 2 points because of accuracy in predicting the field.  All other rankings have 0 at present.
